My credit score is fair but my credit report shows late payments. Will anyone give me a mobile home loan?

OK so heres the deal. Were stuck in a town we HATE and want out. We want a little farm on an acreage and keep seeing these ads that say if you own an acreage your guaranteed financing. And a few say they’ll even sell you an acreage with it… Whats the scam? Do you think that they charge high interest or what? I see these ads everywhere and just wonder if they offer it because maybe its easy to repo these things or what? Heres the latest ad I saw locally. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

The conservative line has been that the big bad Democrats forced banks to give bad loans which led to the housing bubble bursting. However I beg to differ. I think that the economy was so sick, that the Bush Administration saw housing as a form of artificial life support, that since we don’t actually manufacture things anymore, everything would be okay if we just kept people building houses which no one would have the money to buy. It produced false "economic growth" for a couple of years, but sooner or later that strategy’s going to catch up to you, as it did last year.

Just to show that there was no conservative opposition to no money, no income loans, check out this news story from 2004.

I BOUGHT THE MOBILE HOME 3 YEARS AGO BECAUSE THE OLD ONE WAS FALLING APART. I AM A WIDOW AND LIVE ALONE. I CAN NOT DO THE UPKEEP ON THE HOUSE OR REPAIR THE THINGS THAT NEED FIXED BECAUSE I AM NOT PHYSICALLY ABLE TO DO SO. THE STEPS THAT THE MOBILE HOME PEOPLE PUT UP ARE HIGH AND NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO GET UP ANYMORE. I HAVE NO BACK STEPS AT ALL. I LEFT ALL THE CAPS ON BECAUSE MY VISION IS GOING AND I CAN SEE THE BIG PRINT BETTER. I AM NOT YELLING OR FUSSING. I JUST NEED HELP.

I own it outright and the value I believe is somewhere beween 35,000-50,000. It was built in 1971 and I would now like to fix it up and then sell. It has been in the same location since it was built in an established park in the Las Vegas area. Im 62 years of age and retired in 2008 due to disability. Im currently receiving social security benefits, and will be doing so from here on out. I would like to obtain as soon as possible…..thanking you in advance for any and all information.

I have a 10 acre farm in Oklahoma and I would like to refinance at the new rate? Does anyone know who will refinance a rental property with a mobile home on it?

My fiance and I found a place on almost 3 acres and they’re not even asking 70,000 for it! His credit isn’t bad, but it’s not the best and mine is not even worth trying. The banks won’t even touch it and I was wondering if anyone knew of a company that will do an FHA loan on the house. He’s planning on putting a down payment as well.
It was built in 2002. If we can’t do the FHA loan, then what would be the best way to go?
