Buying a Manufactured home (NJ)?
Was just wondering if anyone would know if it was possible to buy land through a conventional loan, and then use a FHA loan to pay for the manufactured house?

He calls it the greatest depression. He says the government and huge corporations have colluded and left the middle class out. Only the super rich are getting bailed out while the rest of us have to work as stockers at Wal-Mart and home health care aides working for minimum wage. And he says the manufacturing base has dwindled down to nothing. Agree?

The adjuster came out and said State Farm would decide on a repair figure on the home and contents, then apply applicable depreciation and cut them a check. There is a loan against the property. I don’t believe my parents will have enough to properly repair the home since the State Farm adjuster is representing the interests of the insurance company. Are we entitled to have independent adjusters come in for other assessments? One of these independents came in behind State Farm and told us he could get us a better deal with commissions being paid by State Farm on the dwelling, and my family from the contents portion of the settlement. He showed ID that he was licensed by the CA Dept of Insurance. I am the most concerned about the dwelling because if they total it, my parents won’t get enough to replace it. They needed to sell them home this July because of a decrease in income. The claim now needs to be disclosed to a buyer. We want a new manufactured home instead of repair.

My husband and I do not have a lot of money to put down. Plus our credit is rated fair. I am trying to find out if we would even qualify for a loan. We are looking at 3 different houses ranging from K to K. Plus does anyone know the going interest rate in MN. Thanks for the help

My wife and I have existing debt (Some credit card, auto loan -mostly paid off w/ equity-, and student loans). Can we get a first time home loan with 0 down, and consolidate our debt into that loan? All together comes to about ,000
I am a veteran and am qualified for a VA loan more than likely
We have decent/good credit.
Also we are looking at a manufactured home with land combo valued at 0,000 … In a growing town in Washington state.
We make aprox ,200 together a month.
What if it appraises at higher?
So how is it determined how much it is that you get in your loan?

Just some quick background info: My mom has a home on about 1-2 acres of land. We were hoping to order a manufactured home to put directly behind her house on HER property. The bank says that the land must be in OUR name in order to get a loan. Meaning my mom would have to deed us part of her property (which she doesn’t necessarily want to do). My question is, in order to get ANY kind of mortgage loan, does the land HAVE to be in our name? Or is there some kind of provision my mom can sign giving us permission to do this?

I have a FHA refinanced (deed of trust) mortgage on a manufactured home in California, Due to cutbacks at my job I am not able to make the payments anymore. Can anyone tell me how to find out if my loan is non-judicial? Meaning how do I know for sure that the bank will not come after me if they are not able to recoup get the money owed on my loan.
What steps should I take to ensure I will not have to pay anything.
Thank you very much for your detailed answer, you have made me feel a little better about my situation.

We are considering buying a manufactured home. We dont own land to put it on. Is it possible to buy and acre or so of land and a manufactured home at the same time? Would we need to get a seperate loan for each or can/should we combine the home and land into the same loan?
Im sure there are factors that I havnt considered so any helpful insights are welcome.
I know that manufactured hoems dont hold value. Our plan it to buy a large enough plot of land to build a home later on. Once the new home is built we would rent out the manufactured home. We would not have to worry about trying to sell it later on.
