We own a 1998 double wide on a crawl space with half an acre of land free and clear, and need to borrow around ,000 on it. Are there any banks that would offer a home equity loan on it? Or what about a refinance? I don’t want to have to pay a ton of closing costs on 000.

I need to know what type of a loan I will need to buy a piece of property, set up and prep the construction site and then move my current manufactured home onto it? This loan also needs to refinance the home, pay for the hookup fees, move, set up and install, and would it be possible to add a garage onto the property?

In the state of Florida, a 2bedroom/2bathroom, but I want to exactly comes with buying a mobile home.

Is the rent included with the electricity and water? or separate?
Are there additional costs besides rent, electricity and water?
Does the value of the home go up or down?
Is it easy to finance?
Other info?

I really want to know and understand the pros’s and con’s on buying a mobile home and if its a better choice then a traditional one.

Please tell me your experiences, Thank You!

Basically I am looking to lease a Manufactured home, aka double wide. I want to know if there is any way of doing so with no credit. I know they have tightened down the past few years on loans, but can a 10% down payment change their minds? We dont want to go through the hassle of finding and apartment, and being stuck in a lease. I’m moving in the next month, and want to possibly go this route. We can afford it, but will they see that?

Originally, the property was purchased separately from the new mobile home purchase. After refinancing them together, the bank went out of business, transferred the mortgage to another bank that went out of business and the current bank that the monthly mortgage payment goes to say they do not have the title. Pa. Motor Vehicles will not issue a duplicate or lost title, because there is a lien on the property (the current loan). How can I find out who has the title so that it may be retired and the property can be sold?

I mean think about it. The credit bubble caused a huge increase in home loans, car loans, credit card applicants, all that fun stuff. Well where there is consumption there is manufacturing. The recession hits, which happens on average every ten years. No one is buying, manufacturing is gone. Then top it off with mass job exports and bankers being laid off because of credit freeze.
